The state is eyeing to scale up its Guinness World Record with a new target of illuminating 26.11 Lakh diyas along the Ram Ki Paidi and 56 other ghats. Officials have described the event as a 'people's celebration', with over 33,000 volunteers joining hands with locals to ensure a seamless experience for the devotees.
The streets of Ayodhya have been decorated with flowers, LED arches, and thematic lighting, while security and crowd control measures are being implemented by the administration. Devotees have already started arriving from neighboring states, including Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Mirzapur, to be a part of the festivities.
