Influencer Couple Sells Viral Gold Coast Mansion for Potential Windfall

As of November 13th, 2025, health influencer Ellie Watson and her husband Alex have placed their Gold Coast, Queensland mansion, known as "Valle Casa," up for auction. The architect-designed home has become Australia's most "Instagram famous" and popular auction property in the past year, with the highest number of views on realestate.com.au in the past week.

According to a property expert, the sprawling, single-level home could fetch as much as $5.7 million at auction next month. The Watsons, who bought the land in 2021 and documented the construction process online, had initially intended for the property to be their "forever home." However, Ellie has now revealed that they are eager to embark on a new "building journey" and create another dream home.

The couple, who previously lived in Bali, have been based on the Gold Coast since 2021.
