Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka accepted a proposal from her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, sharing the happy news on Tuesday night. The engagement ring, a large oval-cut diamond with emerald accents, was designed over several months and is estimated to cost between $250,000 and $500,000. Frangulis, who founded the açaí chain Oakberry, proposed next to a pool adorned with rose petals and flowers.
The couple met in 2024 when Sabalenka became an ambassador for Oakberry. Frangulis has been a significant source of support for Sabalenka, particularly following the death of her ex-boyfriend in March 2024. She noted his constant encouragement helped her focus on positive aspects of her life.
Sabalenka, currently competing in the Indian Wells Open in California, was wearing casual attire when she was proposed to. She had previously hinted at her desire for an engagement, humorously pressuring her boyfriend during a post-match speech in January 2026.
