Apple is celebrating its tenth anniversary of supporting the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month with the launch of its 2026 Pride collection. This year's release includes a new Apple Watch Pride Edition Sport Loop, a dynamic watch face, and matching wallpapers for iPhones and iPads.
The intricately woven nylon Sport Loop band features 11 colors, creating a smooth gradient intended to reflect the diverse identities within LGBTQ+ communities worldwide. The new Pride Luminance watch face complements the band with its dynamic, refractable colors, offering radial and vertical geometric patterns that can be customized.
This collection arrives as CEO Tim Cook, an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community since publicly coming out in 2014, prepares to step down on September 1, 2026. He launched the Apple Watch and the Pride collection in the same year, 2016. The Pride Edition Sport Loop is currently available for $49, with in-store availability expected later this week.
Software updates including iOS 26.5, WatchOS 26.5, and iPadOS 26.5, which will enable the Pride Luminance watch face and wallpapers, are anticipated next week. Apple has supported LGBTQ+ organizations financially since first releasing Pride bands as employee exclusives in 2016.
