Punjab Heritage Tour Ignites Sikh History Passion

The Punjab government recently facilitated a heritage tour for devotees at Anandpur Sahib, aiming to deepen their connection with Sikh history and culture. This initiative included visits to the significant Virasat-e-Khalsa, several revered historic gurdwaras, and the picturesque Panj Pyara Park, drawing an enthusiastic response from participants.

Accompanied by officials, the Sangat explored 27 galleries at Virasat-e-Khalsa, which vividly depict the lives and teachings of the ten Sikh Gurus, alongside key historical periods from Baba Banda Singh Bahadur to the Partition and the Punjabi Suba movement. Experts shared detailed historical and religious insights at each location.

This well-received tour was lauded for its success in engaging devotees, particularly the younger generation, with Punjab's profound and glorious heritage. Participants expressed gratitude for the enriching and informative experience, highlighting its value in preserving historical knowledge.
