The sacred Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage in South Kashmir is set to commence on July 3 and conclude after 57 days on August 28. This year's yatra promises a slightly extended spiritual journey for devotees.
The pilgrimage will utilize two routes: the traditional 48-km Nunwan-Pahalgam route in Anantnag district and the 14-km Baltal route in Ganderbal district. Registration for the yatra is mandatory and will open on April 15. Participants must be between 13 and 70 years of age.
Advance registration can be completed through approximately 556 designated bank branches across the country or online via the official Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board website. Major banks like Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, and Axis Bank will facilitate these registrations.
