Aldi Shoppers Mourn the Disappearance of Beloved Canned Salmon

As of November 1st, 2025, Aldi shoppers have noticed a budget-friendly pantry staple has suddenly vanished from the shelves of the bargain supermarket chain. The Ocean Rise Canned Red Salmon, which was exclusively sold at Aldi for just $1.50 per can, is currently nowhere to be found in stores.

Aldi's website has also listed the product as "currently not available," sparking a flurry of discussion and disappointment among loyal customers. Shoppers have taken to online forums to express their frustration over the disappearance of the affordable and healthy canned salmon.

One clue suggests the product's removal may be permanent, as some stores have already rearranged their shelves to remove the space previously occupied by the Ocean Rise Canned Red Salmon. While Aldi still offers various flavored salmon varieties, the original plain red salmon with just salt as an ingredient is no longer available.

The retailer has brought back the popular Choceur Delightful Chocolate Waves, part of its seasonal Christmas chocolate range, which features thin, crisp milk chocolate slices in four flavors: milk chocolate, caramel, hazelnut, and mint.
