From Banker to Mister Supranational: Kerala's Abel Biju Aims High

Abel Biju, the newly crowned Mister India Supranational 2026, is preparing to represent India on the global stage at the Mister Supranational pageant scheduled for August 1 in Poland. Biju expressed his immense excitement and the profound sense of responsibility that comes with representing over 1.4 billion people, anticipating a unique blend of nervousness, excitement, and gratitude as he prepares to meet contestants from around the world.

His journey took a significant turn after he left a banking career in Kerala to relocate to Mumbai. Biju describes this move as stepping completely out of his comfort zone, which ultimately led to discovering new facets of his personality and becoming more confident. This transformation has profoundly shaped him, contributing to a more positive outlook and self-understanding.

Beyond pageantry, Biju is committed to his social initiative, 'Show Up.' This program is dedicated to alleviating loneliness among the elderly. Inspired by his own grandmother's feelings of isolation, Biju aims to foster intergenerational connections by motivating young individuals to dedicate more time to the seniors in their lives, thereby making a meaningful societal impact.
