5-Year-Old's Homemade Fart Costume Delights Trick-or-Treaters

On October 31, 2025, 5-year-old Arlo from Surrey, UK delighted his neighborhood with a one-of-a-kind Halloween costume. Rather than going as a superhero or spooky character, Arlo decided he wanted to dress up as a fart.

Arlo's mom, Charntel Wright, was up for the challenge. She crafted the costume using several rolls of green and yellow tulle, an old beanie, and a remote-controlled fart machine. The result was a full-bodied, three-dimensional "puff of wind" that Arlo proudly wore as he went trick-or-treating.

When Arlo and his mom hit the streets, the costume was an instant hit. As Arlo walked past crowds or knocked on doors, his mom would trigger the fart sound effects, sending everyone into fits of laughter. Arlo felt like a celebrity, with children, parents, and grandparents all cracking up at the unique costume.

Arlo's friends and family weren't surprised by his unconventional costume choice, as he's known for marching to the beat of his own drum. While he's gone as more "classic" characters in previous years, the fart costume proved to be the "funniest thing" the young boy had ever seen.
