12-Year-Old Celebrates One Year of Adoption by Loving Stepdad

Everleigh, whose biological father Tommy Smith tragically passed away in 2022 at the age of 29, took to Instagram to express her deep appreciation for Cole, calling him the "most loyal, outgoing, and devoted dad" she knows.

Everleigh shared that Cole has been an incredible influence in her life, never failing to make her laugh and always putting a smile on her face. She credited him for teaching her "so much about how to become the godly girl" she is today, saying she "would never be there without him."
