The study analyzed TripAdvisor reviews of nearly 200 of the world's most popular beaches to identify the top 100 that receive the most complaints.

Topping the list is the iconic Waikīkī Beach in Hawaii, which boasts over 4 million visitors annually but is plagued by extreme overcrowding, earning it a 100/100 complaint score. The second most complained-about beach is known for its cleanliness issues and has been deemed the world's dirtiest beach.

Other beaches making the list include Clearwater Beach in Florida, which has been named America's top beach but still faces complaints about overcrowding and filth. Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, is the world's noisiest beach due to its proximity to an airport runway. Beaches in Costa Rica, Italy, and Mexico also received a significant number of complaints related to overcrowding, long queues, and lack of cleanliness.

The study highlights the disconnect between a beach's reputation and the real-world experiences of travelers, providing valuable insights for both tourists and beach management authorities.
