Woodview Care Centre in Lincoln has achieved a 'good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), marking a substantial turnaround from its previous 'inadequate' status. An inspection in July 2025 had identified breaches in eight legal regulations.
Following a subsequent assessment in November 2025, the CQC observed significant improvements implemented by the management. The service is no longer rated as inadequate in any key area.
Inspectors noted that residents received kind and compassionate care, supported by staff who assessed needs effectively and collaborated with professionals. Safeguarding procedures were enhanced, and staffing levels were generally deemed safe.
While praising the positive and inclusive culture, the CQC also highlighted areas for further development, including infection control, care planning, and medicines monitoring.
