- Hospital operator was blacklisted in Uttar Pradesh and ran facility without license.

In Dholpur, a woman's death at Shriom Hospital shortly after childbirth has led to serious allegations of medical negligence and the facility's closure. Anguri (36) was admitted for delivery and underwent a Cesarean section, but her condition deteriorated, leading to her death the following day. Family members protested, accusing doctors of failing to provide timely treatment.
An investigation by district officials revealed that the hospital's primary doctor, Anurag Singh, was reportedly blacklisted in Uttar Pradesh and operating the facility without a valid license. The deceased had extremely low hemoglobin levels (4.6) at the time of the C-section, and an improper blood transfusion was administered. The Chief Medical and Health Officer ordered the unregistered Shriom Hospital to be sealed.
Further inquiries indicated that Anurag Singh had a prior conviction related to the PCPNDT Act. Three other women admitted to Shriom Hospital were transferred to the district hospital. The Kotwali police are currently investigating the incident following a post-mortem examination.
