Her sister alleged that Sheikh became unconscious immediately after the injection and was rushed to the ICU. The family claims that doctors informed them vomit had entered her lungs. Sheikh was declared dead approximately 90 minutes after arriving at the hospital on Thursday.
Doctors are investigating the precise cause of the convulsions, noting Sheikh's history of ovarian cancer. The hospital staff stated that doctors were unavailable for comment due to Eid holidays.
