In June 2019, Clare discovered a recurrence of cancer in her lymph nodes. Facing difficult treatment decisions with a potential 20% fatality risk from radiotherapy, she chose to fight. She completed her second round of intensive treatment on December 9, 2019.
On August 23, 2024, her 50th birthday, Clare received the joyful news that she was officially cancer-free. Her journey, supported by family and Macmillan Cancer Support, has profoundly reshaped her perspective on life and the true meaning of Christmas.
