- The new centre is anticipated to open its doors in 2028.

A new medical centre is set to be developed on the Park Farm Industrial Estate in Wellingborough. Plans have been officially approved to repurpose a currently undeveloped site owned by North Northamptonshire Council. This initiative will establish a community diagnostic centre alongside an elective orthopaedic hub designed to serve the entire county.
The new facility, slated for an opening in 2028, is located off Booth Drive. Councillor Brian Benneyworth highlighted the project's benefits, stating it will enhance patient outcomes by offering quicker access to diagnostic tests and shortening treatment waiting periods. The site was recently identified as surplus land by the council.
