Facing back problems that required surgery, doctors advised she needed to lose weight rapidly. This led Pamela to opt for gastric sleeve surgery in May 2023, through which she dropped from 20 stone 8lbs to 11 stone. Three years later, she has maintained this significant weight loss through lifestyle changes.
Pamela found that while the injections offered temporary results, they did not address the underlying long-term issues. She emphasizes that bariatric surgery was the solution that enabled her to achieve and maintain a healthier weight, feeling fitter and younger.
