- The products may contain undeclared sesame, a major allergen.
- Products were distributed to Lotte Plaza Market locations in several states.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued an alert concerning raw beef and pork products. These items are flagged for misbranding and an undeclared allergen, specifically sesame.
The affected goods were produced from December 1, 2025, through April 6, 2026. FSIS personnel discovered the presence of sesame oil during a routine label review, noting that sesame was not declared as an ingredient. The products carry the "EST. 1377" mark.
These products were distributed to Lotte Plaza Market locations across Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, and Florida. While a recall was not requested as the products are no longer available for purchase, FSIS remains concerned that some may still be in consumers' refrigerators or freezers. Consumers are strongly advised to discard or return any purchased products.
Millions of Americans experience food sensitivities annually. The nine major food allergens in the U.S. include eggs, milk, fish, wheat, soybeans, crustacean shellfish, sesame, tree nuts, and peanuts. This alert highlights the importance of accurate ingredient labeling for consumer safety.
