UK Launches Million-Dose Meningitis B Vaccine Drive

A significant public health initiative is underway in England, Wales, and Scotland, with one million young people set to receive a vaccine for meningitis B. The two-dose vaccine will be administered to pupils currently in their last year of secondary school. Meningococcal disease, caused by meningitis bacteria, can progress to severe and life-threatening conditions.
