Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and USF Health have become integral to the CareSource Military and Veterans (CSMV) network, enhancing TRICARE Prime Demo healthcare services for the US military community. This collaboration significantly expands healthcare access for eligible beneficiaries in Florida's Tampa region, including military retirees, their families, survivors, and active-duty family members.
The partnership ensures that TRICARE Prime Demo by CSMV beneficiaries in Tampa receive a full spectrum of comprehensive health coverage. New advantages include no enrollment fees for the initial year and the elimination of referral requirements when seeing network providers, alongside access to a dedicated CareSource nurse advice line.
Patients enrolled in this program will have access to a wide array of clinical specialties, including neurology, cardiology, and behavioral health, delivered by experts at USF Health and TGH.
