The teenager, previously fit and well, has begun a two-year treatment regimen of chemotherapy and immunotherapy at University College Hospital London. He remains optimistic, viewing his diagnosis as a challenge and planning future travels to Asia and New Zealand.
His mother highlighted the critical role of her insistence on the blood test, emphasizing that red flags should have been recognized earlier.
