16 Jan
Summary
- John Mellencamp revealed his daughter Teddi is suffering from brain cancer.
- Teddi had previously announced her cancer was undetectable in October 2025.
- She faces a 50/50 survival chance after cancer spread to her brain and lungs.

John Mellencamp has disclosed that his daughter, Teddi Mellencamp, is currently very ill with stage 4 cancer that has spread to her brain. He described her condition as "not f---king fun" and stated she is "suffering right now" during a recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
This update contrasts with Teddi's own announcement in October 2025, when she shared that her immunotherapy treatments had resulted in no detectable cancer. At that time, she expressed shock and numbness at the positive scan results. However, she cautioned that she would still experience sickness due to ongoing immunotherapy and was not yet considered in remission.
Teddi's journey began in 2022 with stage 2 melanoma, leading to 17 surgeries. By April 2025, her cancer had metastasized to her brain and lungs, prompting treatments including immunotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Doctors have reportedly given her a 50/50 chance of survival.
