Summary
- Energy support supplement recalled for undeclared erectile dysfunction medication.
- Contaminated product sold nationwide via Amazon and company website.
- Tadalafil poses risks, especially when combined with heart medications.

An 'energy support' supplement, Ashfiat Alharamain Energy Support, is being recalled by Virginia-based Akkarco LLC because it contains undeclared Tadalafil. This medication is used to treat erectile dysfunction and can only be obtained under medical supervision. The FDA emphasizes that products containing Tadalafil cannot be marketed as dietary supplements, as supplements are not regulated in the US.
The recall specifically targets the product in a glass bottle with an orange label, identified by UPC 1234561870003, batch number ENCOT24, and an October 2028 expiration date. This contaminated supplement was available for purchase nationwide through Amazon and the company's website.
Consumers using Tadalafil without a prescription and supervision may face significant health issues, including heart and blood pressure problems, dizziness, and headaches. The risks are amplified for individuals using nitroglycerin or similar medications for chest pain, as combining them with Tadalafil can lead to a critical drop in blood pressure, potentially causing fainting, heart attack, or stroke.
Customers are urged to cease using the product immediately and dispose of it or return it for a refund. The recall was initiated after FDA testing confirmed the presence of Tadalafil in the Akkarco product. A similar recall involving Tadalafil and Sildenafil occurred in December for MR.7 SUPER 700000 capsules.
