Summit County Crisis Center Offers 24/7 Mental Health Help

A new 24/7 walk-in crisis center, Paragon Behavioral Health, has opened in Summit County, Colorado, to address the growing mental health and substance use challenges. Situated near St. Anthony Summit Hospital, this facility provides immediate, appointment-free support for individuals experiencing a range of behavioral health needs, including anxiety, depression, stress, and withdrawal symptoms.

The center accepts people of all ages and aims to remove common barriers to seeking help. Services may include counseling, housing assistance, and referrals to other community resources. Paragon Behavioral Health leaders identified the need for such a facility through discussions with Summit County officials, highlighting a gap in existing behavioral health systems.
