An official reported that a large number of people took an e-pledge through the dedicated Drug-Free Tamil Nadu portal. The state government has also established a specialized Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) with district-level branches. Furthermore, the "Drug-Free Tamil Nadu App" was introduced, enabling students and teachers to anonymously report illicit drug activities.
Youth volunteer groups have received training to help secure school environments and conduct localized peer-to-peer anti-drug campaigns. These combined efforts aim to create a drug-free Tamil Nadu by fostering community involvement and utilizing technological tools for reporting and enforcement.
