SRM University AP has upgraded its Medical Centre, increasing its capacity to provide round-the-clock healthcare. The facility now boasts an eight-bedded unit, supported by five doctors and seven nursing staff, equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools.
To bolster diagnostic services, the university has forged partnerships with Apollo Diagnostics, Durga Labs, and Ramesh Labs. While aiming for on-campus treatment, advanced investigations and specialist care are facilitated through referrals to Manipal and NRI Hospitals, with transport arrangements.
Vice-Chancellor Ch. Satish Kumar emphasized the paramount importance of student and staff health. Health insurance covers all students, ensuring cashless admissions at partner hospitals for initial periods. The university also actively promotes health awareness through regular medical camps and specialized sessions for students, staff, and the local community.
