Public Health Scotland figures revealed a recent increase in hospital admissions for flu, escalating from 860 to 986 cases. The uptick in flu cases has led several NHS boards across Scotland to implement precautionary measures.
These precautionary measures include requesting that visitors to healthcare facilities wear face masks. Additionally, individuals experiencing any illness symptoms are being strongly advised to refrain from visiting altogether, aiming to curb further transmission and protect vulnerable populations.
