The Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) in Sanathnagar is on the cusp of completion, with its inauguration anticipated around the Ugadi festival this March. This significant healthcare development is a multi-block super-speciality facility designed to provide comprehensive medical services on a single campus.
The hospital is undergoing final equipping stages, with essential medical machinery, including a cutting-edge MRI scanner, already in place. Key medical services will focus on being a Centre of Excellence for treating heart-related diseases, fostering advanced research, and performing organ transplantations.
TIMS Sanathnagar will boast 16 major and six minor operation theatres, complemented by an extensive diagnostics wing featuring numerous pathology, microbiology, and biochemistry laboratories. This advanced infrastructure underscores its commitment to high-level patient care and medical innovation.
