Several types of coffee, tea, and boba drink mixes have been recalled due to potential salmonella contamination. SKS Copack initiated the recall after learning that a dry milk powder ingredient, supplied by California Dairies, Inc., was voluntarily recalled in April due to possible salmonella presence found during routine testing. This affected beverage and dessert mixes from brands like Angel Specialty Products, Royal Gold, Boba Time, Fanale, and Denda. Products included items such as matcha green tea, taro, caramel latte, and Dutch mocha cappuccino, alongside yogurt powders, ice cream mixes, and smoothie bases. These recalled items were distributed to cafes, restaurants, and directly to consumers via an e-commerce website in 25 U.S. states. Although no illnesses have been reported to date, consumers are advised to return the products to their point of purchase for a full refund. Salmonella infection symptoms can include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps, typically appearing 12 to 72 hours after consumption. Recently, this same recalled dry milk powder also led to recalls of Sugar Foods LLC's Kroger Homestyle Cheese Garlic Croutons and various frozen pizzas sold at Aldi and Walmart stores nationwide.
