- New ventilators and NICU machines will be procured for three maternity hospitals.
- A new English-medium school with advanced facilities is also approved.

Pune's civic maternity hospitals are enhancing their neonatal care infrastructure following the approval of Rs 4 crore for facility upgrades. This initiative aims to improve treatment for newborns and reduce reliance on other government hospitals during emergencies.
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will acquire 10 ventilators and 10 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) machines. These will be distributed among Kamala Nehru Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, and Chandumama Sonawane Maternity Home to address a noted shortage of critical equipment.
In parallel, the standing committee has greenlit the construction of a model English-medium school in Rajiv Gandhinagar, projected to cost Rs 62.21 lakh initially, with a further Rs 61.91 crore commitment over three years. This school will cater to students from Std I to XII.
Further approvals include land acquisition for a 1.2-km road in Dhayari and Rs 25 lakh for the 'Rangwa Eco Bappa' initiative, which promotes eco-friendly Ganesh idol crafting among 2,000 students.
