The affected pistachio nut butter was available at Walmart locations in 19 states, including Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington, and Wyoming. While no illnesses have been reported to date, salmonella can cause severe gastrointestinal symptoms.
