Home Care Agency Earns Top 'Outstanding' Rating

Loyal Bee Care, based in Perranwell Station near Truro, has been awarded an outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following its initial inspection. The agency, which provides support to around 40 individuals in their own homes, was particularly commended for its caring and well-led service.

Inspectors highlighted feedback from families who reported that their loved ones were enjoying a substantially improved quality of life. The CQC deputy director for adult social care in the South West noted the service's exceptional prioritization of safety, dignity, and independence. Staff were recognized for going well beyond standard expectations, including setting up a volunteer rota for three weeks to ensure a client receiving end-of-life care could remain at home without being alone.
