Hollywood actress Olivia Munn has shared how Princess Kate's openness about her cancer diagnosis provided her with significant comfort and inspiration. Munn, known for her roles in "The Newsroom" and "X-Men: Apocalypse," was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023.

She found solace in Kate Middleton's public statements regarding her health issues, noting how the Princess's words offered a sense of peace. Munn stated that hearing about others' experiences made her feel less alone in her own challenging journey.

Princess Kate, who announced her cancer diagnosis in early 2024, has since shared her experiences with treatment and recovery. She discussed the difficult phase after treatment concludes, emphasizing the need to find a "new normal."

Munn echoed these sentiments, describing the ongoing medical treatments and side effects from her breast cancer medication as exhausting. She underwent five surgeries between 2023 and 2024, including a double mastectomy and ovariectomy.

She also revealed that her husband, John Mulaney, used humor during her treatment. Mulaney would make "inappropriate cancer jokes" to lighten the mood and reduce the fear associated with her bilateral breast cancer battle.
