Stars Align for Mental Health in NYC Events

Project Healthy Minds has announced lineups for two upcoming New York City events dedicated to mental health. The organization's fourth annual World Mental Health Day Gala is scheduled for October 8, where TV producer Bill Lawrence will be honored with the Storyteller of the Year Award.
Carson Daly, co-anchor of Today, will host the gala. A companion World Mental Health Day Festival will take place on October 10, featuring appearances by New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns and actor Terry Crews. Towns will participate in a panel discussing grief and high performance, drawing from his personal experiences.
The festival, which is free to the public, will also include experts from various fields such as psychology and mindfulness. Both events are set to be held at Spring Studios in New York's Tribeca neighborhood. Project Healthy Minds aims to expand access to mental health services nationwide.
