The drug has been found independently and mixed with other substances like fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and sedatives, often disguised in counterfeit prescription pills.
A significant concern is cychlorphine's ability to bypass standard drug testing methods, including those used in hospitals. This detection difficulty suggests that the reported death toll may be considerably higher.
