Kauvery Hospital has launched Maa Kauvery, a new 120-bed hospital exclusively for women and children. This specialized facility offers comprehensive care across maternity, obstetrics, gynaecology, fertility, neonatology, and paediatric critical care. It was inaugurated by Health Minister K.G. Arunraj.
Maa Kauvery provides 24/7 maternity care, managing both normal and high-risk pregnancies with dedicated birthing and postnatal services. Services also extend to foetal medicine, advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgery, and fertility treatments like IUI and IVF.
The hospital features a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) equipped to handle premature babies and those born before 30 weeks or weighing under 1.5 kg. Round-the-clock neonatal specialists ensure advanced life support.
Paediatric services include a dedicated Intensive Care Unit (PICU), 24/7 emergency care, and specialized treatments in pulmonology, nephrology, haematology, and neonatology. This Chennai facility expands on the experience of the existing Maa Kauvery hospital in Tiruchi, established in 2024.
