A new AYUSH-Integrated Hospital, with a 30-bed capacity, is planned for Pathanamthitta at Nannuvakkad. The proposed facility will span 14,700 sq ft and is projected to cost Rs 10.50 crore. This comprehensive project allocates Rs 10 crore for building construction and ₹50 lakh for essential hospital equipment, aiming to provide advanced integrated healthcare. The foundation stone for this state-of-the-art facility will be laid on Tuesday by Health Minister Veena George as part of the Arogyam Anandam Pathanamthitta Fest. Construction for the hospital, which will include general wards, consultation rooms, laboratory, and X-ray facilities, is scheduled to commence in April 2026. Alongside the hospital launch, the district will also witness the launch of the Healthy Kerala and Web 4 Wellness campaign to combat lifestyle diseases.
