Nafisa Ali Sodhi, a veteran actor currently managing a recurrence of peritoneal and ovarian cancer, recently embarked on an adventurous trek. She ascended to an altitude of 11,000 feet near Rohtang Pass, an experience that left her feeling "brand new" following surgery and multiple chemotherapy sessions. Sodhi shared videos and photos from the trek on Instagram, highlighting the supportive presence of her family, including her son-in-law and grandson, who assisted her on the rocky terrain.

The actor revealed that the trek, which included a picnic lunch at Sissu after crossing the Atal Tunnel, was a "grand experience." This journey signifies a remarkable resurgence of spirit after her battle with cancer, which was initially diagnosed in 2018 and later returned.

Sodhi previously opened up about her diagnosis, recounting how initial misdiagnoses delayed treatment for her cancer.
