Mochi Health Slashes GLP-1 Drug Costs

Mochi Health has announced significant updates to its GLP-1 medication offerings, making treatment more accessible and providing enhanced patient monitoring. The telehealth platform has introduced a new dose-based pricing structure for compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide.

Under this new model, compounded semaglutide is now available starting at $60 per month, and compounded tirzepatide begins at $90 per month. Mochi Health states that no dosage will exceed previous pricing, and many options are now offered at lower monthly rates. Membership plans, separate from medication costs, start at $39 for the first month and include unlimited provider visits.

In conjunction with the price reduction, Mochi Health launched Mochi Labs, an integrated blood-testing service. Patients can order and manage lab work directly through the Mochi platform, with initial testing for a core health panel starting at $26. Providers can use these results to monitor metabolic health, thyroid function, and nutritional markers throughout treatment.

These enhancements aim to address common patient concerns regarding the affordability and ongoing medical oversight of GLP-1 weight-loss treatments. The laboratory service is available in most U.S. states, excluding New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Hawaii.
