Manitoba Measles Cases Surge: Over 300 Infected This Year

Data reveals that 83.4% of all positive cases were individuals with no measles vaccine doses, and five percent had an unknown vaccination status. Of the 31 hospitalized, 30 were unvaccinated or had an unknown status, and 19 were under 10 years old. Premier Wab Kinew expressed concern, noting a decline in vaccination rates in the Southern Health region, which historically had high rates.
