He spent five weeks in hospital before receiving a second liver transplant on February 28. While his skin color has returned to normal, the recovery was painful, requiring him to relearn basic mobility.
He now requires lifelong medication and attends regular hospital check-ups every six weeks. His mother described the ordeal as terrifying, fearing for his life during his time in intensive care. Despite his recovery, he admits to still feeling self-conscious in public and hopes sharing his story will raise awareness for others.
