10 Dec
Summary
- Georgia man underwent painful limb lengthening surgery to gain eight inches.
- He traveled to Turkey for the procedure, which is considered riskier there.
- The dramatic height increase cost over $80,000 and involved months of recovery.

Dynzell Sigers, a Georgia man, recently revealed his extensive and painful journey to dramatically increase his height by eight inches. The procedures involved doctors breaking leg bones and inserting rods to gradually stretch the bone over time, with each stage requiring at least three months of recovery.
Driven by a past rejection due to his height of 5 feet 5 inches, Sigers, a former Navy medic, opted for a riskier approach by traveling to Turkey. In the US, such procedures usually add only three inches, primarily to the upper leg, as lengthening the lower leg is considered especially dangerous.
Now standing at 6'1", Sigers reports being fully recovered and fortunate to have avoided serious complications, despite the procedure's known risks, including death. The entire transformation reportedly cost him upwards of $80,000.
