A significant advancement in male reproductive health has emerged from China, where scientists have developed a lotion designed to combat the global crisis of declining male fertility. This topical treatment represents the first targeted repair strategy aimed at improving sperm motility, a key factor in conception that has seen worrying declines worldwide over the past five decades.

The innovative hydrogel, created by researchers at Fudan University, is formulated with SKAP2, a protein crucial for maintaining sperm's normal structure and movement.
