The health department set up an extensive network of 1,705 booths across rural and urban areas. Mobile teams were strategically positioned at transport hubs like bus stands and railway stations, as well as the airport, to maximize reach. Special attention was given to vulnerable groups, including children of inter-state migrant laborers and those in refugee camps.
Fueled by a workforce of 7,412 personnel from various departments and NGOs, the campaign ran efficiently from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Minister C.T.R. Nirmalkumar highlighted the importance of consistent immunisation drives to sustain India's polio-free status, urging universal participation from parents.
