This development follows recent recommendations against universal PSA screening by the UK National Screening Committee due to potential harms. High-profile figures, including Jeremy Clarkson, are campaigning for a national screening program. Prostate cancer remains the most common cancer among UK men, with over 55,000 diagnoses annually.
