Kauvery Hospital Unveils Metabolic Wellness Centre for Holistic Care

Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet has recently unveiled the Kauvery Metabolic Wellness Centre, an innovative facility aimed at supporting long-term metabolic balance. The centre, which launched on November 13, 2025, adopts a proactive and integrated approach to addressing lifestyle-related disorders such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.

According to K. Baraneedharan, a senior diabetologist at Kauvery Hospital, the centre will bring together a multidisciplinary team of experts, including diabetologists, nutritionists, physiotherapists, and psychologists, to provide personalized assessments and long-term solutions for maintaining metabolic health. "We need to continuously take a proactive approach, which is the intention behind the centre," Baraneedharan explained.

The Kauvery Metabolic Wellness Centre was inaugurated by Ishari K. Ganesh, the founder and chancellor of Vels University. Aravindan Selvaraj, the co-founder and executive director of the Kauvery Group of Hospitals, was also present at the launch event.
