Kalaburagi Hospital Gets ₹5 Crore Medical Tech Boost

The Basaveshwar Teaching and General Hospital in Kalaburagi has received a substantial upgrade worth over ₹5 crore, equipping it with advanced medical technology. This enhancement is set to revolutionize emergency, surgical, and critical care services, ensuring better patient outcomes. The hospital has also expanded its academic offerings, doubling nursing seats and recruiting additional staff.

The newly installed equipment includes state-of-the-art operation tables, ventilators, diagnostic machines, and sterilisation systems. These additions bolster the hospital's capacity for complex surgeries and intensive patient monitoring. Furthermore, a new Cath Lab is expected to be operational soon, further expanding specialized treatment options.

This significant investment by the Hyderabad-Karnataka Education Society underscores its commitment to providing accessible healthcare. The hospital currently offers approximately 95% of its services free of charge, serving a large population across the Kalyana Karnataka region. Ongoing recruitment and a dedicated budget for sanitation aim to maintain high standards of hygiene and patient care.
