TOWIE Star's Brain Swelling Worsens Amid Health Battle

Reality TV personality Jordan Brook has revealed a serious health diagnosis from his hospital bed, stating that the swelling on his brain is worsening. The TOWIE star, 31, was admitted to hospital over the weekend and has since been diagnosed with both viral meningitis and encephalitis.

Viral meningitis is an inflammation of the brain and spinal cord lining, while encephalitis is a rare and potentially life-threatening inflammation of the brain itself. Brook described his condition as significant, involving round-the-clock care, IV drips, antiviral medication, pain management, and seizure monitoring.

Despite the severity, which makes even simple daily activities challenging, Brook remains focused on recovery. His primary goal is to become a healthy father to his unborn son with girlfriend Sophie Kasaei. He urged fans and friends to disregard conspiracy theories and misinformation circulating about his health.

Sophie Kasaei, his pregnant girlfriend, has been a source of support. She recently shared that she could visit him as he is no longer considered contagious. Brook expressed gratitude for the medical staff, his family, and his supporters, vowing to overcome his illness and return home to his family.
