The service employs proactive counselling, with 20.31% of users successfully quitting tobacco. Although engagement drops over follow-ups, 19,253 people achieved cessation, demonstrating the program's impact on public health.
The majority of callers are young men under 34, with significant participation from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. Expanded to a four-centre network, the Quitline now operates in 15 languages, with future plans for AI-assisted support.
