The Elekta Evo allows clinicians to adapt patient treatments dynamically, enhancing decision-making and streamlining workflows. The hospital has already begun clinical application, successfully treating a patient with locally advanced rectal cancer using online adaptive radiotherapy (oART). This approach precisely targeted the tumor while minimizing radiation exposure to healthy tissues, resulting in minimal side effects.
